Application Procedure
- Check admission requirement and research areas
First, you can check my research areas at my homepage and see if you are interested. International applicants who are not native English speakers usually need to take English tests (see details below). Feel free to contact me to know more about our research. You are welcome to send me your resume and transcripts. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
- Submit official application
As all graduate applications to the Faculty of Computer Science need to be approved by our admission committee.
It is strongly suggested that you submit an official application as early as possible. You can indicate in your application that you are interested in working with me.
The application information can be found at the online application website.
- Follow up your application
Once you submit an official application, you can check the status at the application website. You can also let me know so that I can follow up.
You will be notified the application result once the decision is made.
- Receive final admission and funding offers
The final decision on acceptance and financial support will be made afterwards and official letters will be sent out. There are 1) an admission letter indicating you are accepted into the applied program starting at certain date; and 2) a funding letter showing the financial support. Usually, if full financial support is granted,
sufficient funds will be available to cover the tuition and living expenses during the graduate study.
Two letters are sent out separately, with the admission letter sent first and followed by the funding letter. If you just receive the admission letter, it does not mean there is no financial support. Please wait patiently or check with me if you indicated me as your potential supervisor in your application.
Please let us know whether you would like to accept the offer as soon as possible. Note that there is NO April 15 Resolution at UNB.
