2021-2023:

During the COVID period spanning 2021 to 2023, I did not refresh the news on this page. The best news for me in the period is that four of my PhD students, Yandong Zheng, Xichen Zhang, Songnian Zhang, and Yunguo Guan got the tenure-track assistant professor positions in USA, Canada, and China, after they graduated. In addition, I have been promoted as the full professor at the University of New Brunswick, the Mastercard IoT Research Chair, and elevated as the Fellow of IEEE.

On 3 December (morning), we successfully demonstrate Security Enhanced Technologies for IEEE 802.11p (IEEE 1609.2 Standard Implementation and Android based Security communication) at NTU-NXP Smart Mobility Test Bed Networking Event. In the next stage, we will directly deploy our security algorithms and protocols in real RSU and OBU devices in NTU Campus.
