The best way to use simplex is to ssh to the head or "front-end" node called vertex.cs.unb.ca. The same login credentials work for both nodes.

From this node you have full access to slurm to start new interactive or batch jobs, or to check the status of your jobs, or how busy the main server is.

The shared storage in /data/share is also available on vertex.
